Set up an LLC for free for your STR
With all the talk, here’s how to do your own LLC for free!
- Go to your state’s secretary of state corporations page by googling that or click through via this link for your state https://www.lendingtree.com/…/secretary-of-state…/
- Create a name and make sure it is not taken vii a search. Register the name (Cost $125.00 in most states) and download the articles
- Go to the IRS page and get your EIN number for free in minutes https://www.irs.gov/…/apply-for-an-employer…
- Go to your bank with the paperwork and open an account.
- Call your CPA with the EIN and name – DONE!
